It is hard to believe that #PAXreatreat San Clemente is over already!
We had an absolutely AMAZING time laughing and learning with so many wonderful mamas and babies, listening to presentations from Laura Brown of Ergo Baby, CharLee from Quasico Creative, Cassiopeia of Tula Baby Carriers, a skype lunch conference with Keren of Je Porte Mon Bebe, and to top it all off – certification by the Canadian Babywearing School!!!
Guests received babywearing portraits by Salt + Light Photography, packed goodie bags, hours of instruction, gourmet meals and snacks prepared right on site and tons of life long memories!!!
What could be better than a gigantic week-long sleepover with some of your favorite babywearing friends and all of the PAXmommies!?!?

As you can see from the photos, though Corrina comfortably and ergonomically fits in the Beco Toddler, she still has tons of room to grow! Talk about bang for your buck! So many people think that they will not need a carrier once their child starts walking, and that could not be further from the truth!! We use our carriers with our bigger children nearly as much as we do with our babies! Babywearing can take you so much further in a day!!
We just love the high back and head rest, as well as the cross-able strap feature for front carries. Your child is supported, and the high back helps them feel safe and cozy (which also helps if you have a leaner!!!!), and best of all, gives those tired legs a rest!

It’s actually SO simple once you see it in action!
Lay down your carrier, place baby on front panel, clip the buckles of the newborn insert up and around baby!
Then scoop him up, buckle the chest clip and throw the whole thing over your head like a shirt, and buckle your waistband snugly around your hips or natural waist!
Baby should be sitting in the insert with legs in the M position!!!

The Beco Butterfly is our hands down favorite carrier for most any baby and any parent! Complete with all the bells & whistles, the Butterfly features an internal harness, infant insert, sleeping hood, and can carry babies from newborn through 45 pounds! Perfect for warm weather babywearing due to the internal Y panel, and featuring a huge selection of prints, PAXbaby ? the Beco Butterfly!
The Beco Gemini is Beco’s other buckle carrier, and it is a throw back to an earlier Beco model that was well-loved!
