My friend, Mandy babywearing guru, has passed the torch of babywearing guru to me, and now all your babywearing questions will be answered by the PAXbaby mama aka Babywearing Expert aka The Beco Princess! I can't wait to get to know you and help you to choose the PERFECT carrier for you and your family's needs!
WHY rent a carrier? Because sometimes looking at a bazillion pictures and and asking lots of questions just isn't good enough! This is a BIG purchase, and you may need to feel the goods before committing! Often there will be a babywearing group in your area with a lending library, if not, PAXbaby's Sling Exchange will come to the rescue!
HOW do you rent a carrier? Choose the carrier (or carriers) that you would like to try, pay for it, wear it and get to know it for 2 weeks, then send it back to buy the baby carrier of your dreams!
WHAT is the BEST part??? You can try as many carriers as you want! PAXbaby can put together a custom package for you to try out a range of carriers! $9 for the first carrier and $7 for the additional carriers, this is a great way to compare and contrast multiple carrier choices!

Step by step, here's how PAXbaby's Sling Exchange works:
- Choose your carrier(s) from the selection available. If you would like PAXbaby to design a custom package for you with multiple carriers, let me know so I can put that together for you at a reduced rate!
- Check out through PayPal and get ready to try out your carrier(s) for 2 weeks. We will contact you for your credit card number to keep on file just in case you decide to run off with your rental carrier! You will not be charged for the carrier(s), but this is insurance for us to receive the carrier(s) back in good shape! You will see an authorization being held on your card for 60% of the retail value of the carrier(s) that will be removed once the carrier(s) are home safe & sound!
- The $9 per carrier pays for shipping through Priority Mail with a tracking # and insurance.
- After 2 weeks of renting, you will send your rental carrier(s) back to
PAXbaby - with insurance please - and exchange your rental for the baby
carrier you have chosen!
- Baby carriers purchased at PAXbaby after renting through PAXbaby's Sling Exchange are still eligible for free shipping and the 90 day Love it or Leave it return policy.
Special Circumstances:
- If you would like more than 1 carrier, feel free! Just add them all to your shopping cart and enjoy comparing! You will be refunded the extra payment. Or contact PAXbaby to design a custom rental package!
- Please don't wash your Sling Exchange baby carriers, I will wash them back at home in Charlie's Soap and line dry!
- Sling Exchange will gladly send rental carriers Internationally, but different shipping arrangements need to be made so please contact PAXbaby.
- If you can't make up your mind and decide not to buy a carrier through PAXbaby, you will be charged an additional $10 rental fee per carrier.
- Remember, shipping back to PAXbaby is on you so be sure to insure your package!
