How does this compare to the becco butterfly?
The APLX reminds me of the vintage Beco style – the Beco 4th Generation – but lighter weight and a more pronounced curve on the head rest! It is simple to use, but lacks the bells & whistles of other carriers like the Beco Butterfly or the Boba. The hip option is nice, but just as on the Gemini, not my first choice when wanting to hip carry! The amount of padding on the shoulder straps and waistband is right on, however, not too bulky but not too light!
