Happy happy happy #8 to PAXbaby.com! Many moons ago, PAXbaby started as a wee baby carrier and cloth diapering store in Santa Barbara; little did I know that I would be babywearing here today – 3 babies later and many many many mamas helped along their path to happy babywearing! What a wonderful feeling to know that I and the rest of the PAXmommies have influenced and led the way in the rainbow revolution that is today’s babywearing community! I know you have all heard the story many times before, but when I wanted a rainbow woven wrap for my fourth child, I had to source it used from Canada! The abundance of rainbows now is a blessing and a gift to all who are ISO a beautiful, bright carrier to wear and enjoy for years to come!

Please come celebrate PAXbaby’s EIGHTH birthday with us on September 20! There will be games, prizes, laughter, joy and most of all BABYWEARING! Wear your rainbow bells on your toes and reserve your party ticket now! The theme of #PAXbirthdaybash8 is nothing other than *over the rainbow,* and we will be partying literally from dawn til dusk! Or to be more exact, 10 am -9 pm! See the schedule below for more details! Anyone over 2 years old will need a ticket so we have enough CAKE for you; please bring your neighbor who has been thinking about babywearing, your newly pregnant sister in law, your favorite babywearing educator… all are welcome to this happy place!

10-12 am Join the babywearing educators as they soak up Kristi from Wrapsody’s wise words in her talk about Branding for Businesses!
12-2 pm Bring your own picnic and enjoy the atmosphere of the BIGGEST PAXplaydate of the year!
2-4 pm Kristi will present her afternoon session about Personality for Peace, geared towards babywearers of all ages and stages and walks of life!
4-6 pm Silent Auction,* mix and mingle time, group photo by Allie with Salt+Light Photography & BIRTHDAY CAKE!
6-7 pm Bring your own picnic and watch the sun go down with the PAXmoms!
7-9 pm Dance party! Wear your baby, bring headphones, and get ready to boooogieeeee!

Some fine print : This is a FREE event, limited to 4 tickets per household! Please be respectful of the venue as well as the PAXmoms who will be cleaning up after the party! Bring your own picnic including silverware. Water will be available at the clubhouse. Space is limited; PLEASE reserve your ticket so we can have an accurate headcount for the cake as well as other supplies! There are bathroom facilities as well as a kitchen if you need to use either option as you spend the day with us! *And most importantly, PAXbaby’s #PAXbirthdaybash8 Silent Auction proceeds are going to The Carrying On Project which puts baby carriers in the hands of those who need them the most, our amazing military parents holding down the fort while their loved one is serving our country!
