The PAXkids love to bake!
And the holidays are such a *great* excuse to bake (and eat) all of those delicious treats that you have been avoiding all year. Haha!
Cupcakes with sprinkles in the shape of Christmas trees? Why not?
Gingerbread men? SURE!!
Peppermint bark and chocolate fudge? Um. Of course!!
All the ladies, young and old, in PAXmommy Mel’s family gather early in December and bake stacks and stacks of cookies in oodles of different flavors. Chocolate chip, shortbread (two kinds), gingerbread men, oatmeal raisin, double chocolate, peanut butter, tiger eyes, oatmeal etc etc.
Not only do you leave with a giant assortment of delicious cookies, but what an excellent opportunity to spend time with family, laughing, joking, and just enjoying each other’s company.
Some of the best memories are made in the kitchen, that’s for sure!!
