I am THANKFUL every day for my work that inspires me as a parent; watching each of you blossom and bloom with your own families only serves to motivate me to be THAT involved in my children’s lives, THAT loving with each of them, THAT sweet and kind, gentle and nurturing! With every picture you share and comment you post, you fill me with the knowledge that we are raising a generation of young people who are so beloved! It is evident with every photo and sentence that these babies will grow to be an amazing, strong, and influential society who WILL change the world as we know it! As Thanksgiving 2015 comes and goes, let us all be thankful for our mama village, our parental tribe, those who have shaped and formed us into the caregivers that we are! Also, let us give thanks out loud for each and every one of our children for they will hold that praise in their hearts and one day remember the moment that we thanked them merely for being THEMSELVES.

Today is a day for gratitude for the past, present, and future! As hard as the past was, we would be different people had it been any less so. As difficult as each today can be, we only grow stronger through withstanding trials and tribulations. And as daunting and unpredictable as the future may seem, know that YOU are making a difference and helping to bring each of us to a better place by being the wonderful, caring, and persevering parent you are! Happy Thanksgiving!!! May your table be filled not only with bountiful food, but with the company of your loved ones and may your house resound with the sound of your children’s laughter!

I am thankful for each and every day that I’m alive and able to make an impact on the world, no matter how big or however small. I have 3 awesome miniature versions of myself that I’m supposed to be molding into considerate, caring, understanding and compassionate human beings. But with each passing day, I learn more and more that it’s not just me teaching them, but they’re also teaching me what this life is all about. And for every lesson exchanged and every day that I’m granted to share with them, I will be forever grateful.
I’m thankful for family, both given and found. Every time I find myself in a hard place in life I find myself drowning my sadness by reaching out to those people. I’m thankful for my immediate family. There love an support makes me smile every day. I’m thankful for my gothy dancing family, who have let me get my spooky out, even though I don’t look the part. I’m thankful for my infosec family, who’s intelligence blows my mind and makes me a better person by encouraging me to think outside of the proverbial box. I’m thankful for an amazing babywearing community, though I do not meet most of you, it truly has changed my life for the better. It keeps me going some days, carrying my son is something so precious to me, to have people that understand that is a gift beyond words. May everyone be as fortunate to see the people around them and feel that love of given and chosen family.
Happy Holidays!
I am thankful for everything I have and all the healthiness we’ve experienced, but I’m most thankful for my online moms that I’ve met. You all have given encouragement and live from somewhere I didn’t expect!
I am thankful for so many things this year! I have my rainbow baby girl who is now walking & learning words. Her mind is so quick & her spirit so strong everyone is smitten including her 2 teenage stepbrothers. After years of legal troubles to try & get primary custody of the boys my husband & I finally have them with us & can provide stability for them to live with less stress on all of us. After losing my job this year I found a position that challenges me & where I enjoy the company of those I work with all day. My time without a job allowed me to spend time with my daughter & continue our breastfeeding relationship longer than I originally imagined. The week after I was laid off my grandma was put on life support & I was able to be with her when she made a miraculous recovery and as she returned home & bring her great granddaughter to visit in a crucial time. I felt the support of my loved ones & found a new community of moms. Through them I have found baby wearing which led me here. I am thankful for my husband most he is strong & supportive & the epitome of a fabulous father. I am thankful for the bumpy broken road that I am walking that keeps amazing me with what is waiting around every turn!
