Wrap conversion swings are great for both indoor AND outdoor use for babies/toddlers. If you choose to hang the swing outside, it is recommended to bring it back in when not in use to prevent damage from the outdoor elements.
To hang the swing outside you can simply clip to a normal swing set, or hang using appropriate anchors/clips.
For inside use, Flying Feathers recommends heading to your local hardware store (or purchasing from directly from F.F) swing anchors. The swing MUST be anchored into a stud when securing. ALWAYS use anchors that have a weight limit of 100lbs or more. If you need help figuring out what type of anchor to use please message Flying Feathers directly, and she can help. Remember SAFETY FIRST!!!
The swing is made to be adjustable in height. Once it is properly secured if you would like to change the height, untie the knots below the dowels and raise the swing. Retie. Make sure your knots are all tight and always check them before using the swing.
Using a level to assure that the swing is balanced is always a good idea!
How to know if your baby is ready to use a Flying Feathers Swing??
Babies need to be able to sit unassisted to use the swing.
The swing is not made for children over 45lbs.
Check the swing over EACH TIME before using to ensure that everything looks good (no rips/tears/frays etc).
*****Do not leave your child unattended in the swing, adult supervision is a must at all times.
This swing is not meant to be used vigorously, nor like a playground swing to push your child “high to the sky”. It is meant for light swinging only.
Please use as instructed.
