Happy Labor Day!

What does Labor Day mean to a PAXmommy??

Well, this year it means a little more as PAXmommy Mel is 9 months pregnant and actually prepping for LABOR, as well as working buuuut…

Being a PAXmommy often means: sleepless nights, checking emails from your phone while kids play, writing and editing posts during nap times, prepping dinner and checking in on the Facebook page for juuuuust a minute, having online meetings, being creative even when you just want to sleep, drinking coffee at 10pm, working through writer’s block, deadlines, endless emails, bringing your laptop everywhere & anywhere, eating dinner in front of the computer, juggling “it all”, problem solving…

But it ALSO means: being able to attend daytime preschool concerts, working in your jammies FROM bed, breastfeeding at work, working from everywhere & ANYWHERE – actually meeting amazing new friends in person and world-wide, helping people, spreading the babywearing love, playing with fluff, snuggling babies, learning new things, being creative, getting to design textile art, having an amazing support system of PAXmommies around you at all times, brainstorming and collaborating with so many amazing women, team work, working with your best friends, challenging yourself everyday, family values, planning playdates, staying home with your family, getting paid to do what you love.
