How does your little one ask to be carried?
My Baby #5 uses sign language to tell me he wants UP!
Some of our friends taught their children the word for backpack in Spanish!
“la mochila”
Even young babies can tell us very clearly when they want to be worn!
By crying until they get what they want!
Cozy snuggles,
next to their favorite person,
with their needs met,
and a heartbeat under their ear.
Nothing better than babywearing!
THANKS, Beco Baby Carriers, for comfortable baby carriers from newborn through big kids!
Our son was just carried all the time until he started walking, and then he took off running and never turned back. He only wanted to be carried when he was tired, or nervous and it didn’t matter whether it was on our hip or in a carrier. The only time I knew he should be in a carrier was when he would rub his face on our shoulders, that was a sign that a carrier would be needed. Otherwise, by the time he was 2 he could talk in phrases and he would just say “carry me mommy”, or “piggy back daddy”. When we got our boba he would yell “boba boba boba” over and over until we put him in it. He learned how to milk that carrier for every occasion possible.
